Dinner awaits and playing in the Dark

So when I got home from a hard day at work, this is what was waiting for me.  I'm telling you I have the most wonderful, most beautiful, most precious wife in the world!  One of our favorite meals!   I'm so in love with my wife....

This is not a computer animation, this is an actual photograph.  It is completely in the dark, with a white wooden ball and a red laser pointer.  The effect is made by opening the shutter for several seconds.  This was my first attempt at this technique and I was pretty happy with the results.
